Elevators

He was in another place and time
listening to and seeing with his inner eye
old rusty elevators
going up and down
from a very deep hole
in the ground.
beings appeared
to be on them
waiting to reach
their destination
in higher or lower
abodes

This alternative
reality appears to reveal
the hollow earth
theory as something
far more than
fiction

this idea of the underworld
being much more than
a realm of subconscious luggage
but an actual place
that can be visited
by  trance

this grand discovery
of a place beneath
the surface of everyday
reality
&

this feeling
of having been
somewhere
only heroes
of mythology
can compare
with

is not one
easily shaken
off and
forgotten
